Dan J. Fiore is a writer and professor based in Pittsburgh, where he’s lived for the past fifteen years. He was born and raised in rural southwest Pennsylvania.

Previously published by the likes of Mystery Tribune, Thuglit, and Hot Metal Bridge, his work has been awarded grand prize in the 82nd annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition as well as Pittsburgh Filmmakers’ 2009 First Works Grant. He’s also punched quite a few clocks as a copywriter and creative strategist.

Beyond marketing and ad stuff, Dan has also worked in the journalism, film, and publishing industries. He holds an MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University (where he now teaches) and a BA in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh.

He’s currently finishing his next novel.
