Dan J. Fiore is a writer and professor based in Pittsburgh, where he’s lived for the past fifteen years. He was born and raised in rural southwest Pennsylvania. Published by the likes of Mystery Tribune, Thuglit, and Hot Metal Bridge, his work has been awarded grand prize in the 82nd annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition as well as Pittsburgh Filmmakers’ 2009 First Works Grant. 

Before building his own business as a copywriter and creative strategist, Dan worked in the journalism and film industries. He holds an MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University (where he now teaches) and a BA in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh. He’s currently finishing his next novel.
