Dan J. Fiore is a freelance copywriter, author, brand strategist, concept director, and adjunct professor based in Pittsburgh, where he’s lived for the past thirteen years. He was born and raised in rural southwest Pennsylvania.
Previously published by Mystery Tribune, DarkFuse, and Thuglit, among others, his work has been awarded grand prize in the 82nd annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition as well as Pittsburgh Filmmakers’ 2009 First Works Grant. He’s also worked with brands both big and small from all over the world.
Before building a career in marketing and advertising, Dan cut his teeth in the journalism industry. He holds an MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University and a BA in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh.
He’s currently finishing up his new novel, Cold Dead Hearts, based on the LitReactor challenge-winning story “Heart.”
